I spent an evening on the beach a few weeks ago with this wonderful family. We got some great shots, saw a beautiful sunset, and had a really fun time. They are truly blessed with these two beautiful girls!

Oh, I am very far behind on my blog posts! Sorry that I have been gone so long! The post for today was from a very fun photo session with a gorgeous actor/model who needed an updated portfolio for an upcoming audition in New York. This was very different from the babies and families that I usually photograph, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This sweet girl joined me in the studio a few weeks ago and melted my heart. I just LOVE newborns, have I mentioned that before?

This sweet girl brought in her big brother and big sister when she came to visit me for her newborn photos. What a sweet family!

A few weeks ago, I did a themed mini-session, hosted by The Klumsy Moose Boutique and we had such a great time. The kids were all so cooperative and looked absolutely adorable. One of the props was an old desk that I had as a child. I have many fond memories of playing school with this desk and I am happy I was able to incorporate it into a photo session. In October, The Klumsy Moose Boutique will be hosting another mini-session with me just in time to celebrate Halloween. Be on the lookout for dates to schedule your appointment!

Oh my, these children were some of the most beautiful that I have had the pleasure of photographing. Little Bella was a professional in the studio. At only two years old, she was a dream to work with! And hew newborn brother, only 9 days old, stayed asleep and let me pose him however I wanted. If only every session was this easy!!

Whew! Last post for tonight! I have been working with an adorable children’s boutique in Chesapeake and we did a photo shoot to show off some of their new fall line. The clothes were precious and the models were even cuter!!

This lucky little sweetie will grow up eating very well- Her mom and dad are the owners of La Bella In Ghent (one of my favorite restaurants and the BEST Italian food in Hampton Roads!) She was just precious with a full head of hair!

I first met these sweet siblings a few months ago when little Kinsley came in for her newborn portraits. I love having the babies come back so I can see how they are growing. I hope to see them again for Kinsley’s first birthday pics!

This was my first engagement session and I really enjoyed it, despite the clouds, rain, and fog (and overall lack of pretty light!) I think I enjoyed it so much because adults listen and smile on demand and stay where I put them, which was a nice change from my usual clients!! This couple will be married in May and couldn’t have been any cuter!
